Peter Williams: Allrounder in more ways than one. Stylish batsman and reliable bowler, nicknames 'S' & "Block Wack", favourite saying "youv'e got plenty of time".

Tim Evans: Prolific opening batsman and excellent fielder, best innings for Mochdre had to be the 110 he scored against Newtown in a Welsh Cup semi-final.

Russell Morris: Opening batsman and a member of the N.Wales Div 1 championship side. He also played for Oxford University.

David Went: Solid opening batsmen, sometimes dropped his bat though, does a great rendition of House of the Rising Sun.

Richard Buckley-Jones: Left hand bat and oozing with style, after a few seasons he moved to Marchwiel.

Roger Bolton: Another opening bat, lightning quick between the wickets and very difficult to dismiss.

Simon lee: Left arm spinner, well known for pitching ball on the wicket, usually bounced four times before reaching batsman.

David Robertson: Fast opening bowler, often terrorising the batsman. A more than useful batsman, in his early days with Mochdre he had a habit of arriving late for away games.

David Jones: Opening bowler, twenty two overs a game were no problem. Favourite memory, playing against West Indian star, Collis King at Pontblythyn when Mochdre were all out for 17.

Johnny Carmichael: Left arm bowler and comic of the team, he could put the ball on the right spot all the time. Most memorable batting performance was against Harold Craig at a misty Colwyn Bay.

John Breeze: Used to be left arm over but in the last few years of his career became a danger to the umpire. Famous for chatting up a grandmother during a test match.

Present X1

Paul Owen: First team captain, and a batsman of real quality, known as "Bertie", also bowls in the great Aussie Tommo way.

Colin Midgeley: Wicketkeeper and hard hitting batsman, he is also a champion trout fisherman, the only thing he catches.

Steven Jones: Affectionately known as "Benny", opening batsman with a tendency to freeze at the crease.

Dafydd Rhys: An opening batsman of the highest quality, this season he is averaging 47.00. In October he is due to marry Nerys in heaven. We wish them well.

Gareth Davies: Prolific allrounder, county player and this year has acquired the nickname of "hounddog"

Gareth Colman: Top order batsman with loads of style, occasional bowler.

Paul Buckley: Middle order batsman and fields in the Jonty Rhodes style. Quiet man of the side.

Paul Colman: Offspinner and stylish batsman, just waiting for an oportunity to shine, affectionately known as "keg on legs"

Chris Williams: Allrounder with plenty of enthusiasm, a fine fielder as well, sorted out Bosnia singled handed!

Robert Stewart: Fat bottomed opening bowler with plenty of pace, although a bit short on stamina.

John Aspinall: Athlete extrodinaire, runs, bats, fields, but last weekcouldn't catch a thing.
